Bericht van Hyperion Dhatri wo apr 18, 2018 7:01 pm

The treatre was practically deserted. Save for the stage designers, who worked tirelessly as always, almost everyone had already gone on their merry ways home. Even the stage hands had vanished – which was fine as far as Hyperion was concerned. He had scheduled an extra rehearsal with just his lead actress, Ilona, to fully prepare her for the role she was set to play in the upcoming show, which was to open in roughly two months’ time. So far, she had performed admirably and there was little he could fault in her portrayal of the part – as Hyperion had known she would; she wasn’t his lead actress for nothing – but there was something that didn’t feel quite right yet. Hyperion couldn’t put his finger on it. It was because of this that he had scheduled this particular rehearsal with Ilona, so that he could act opposite her and experience what would need to be changed first-hand.

And it would be wonderful if he could actually get the rehearsal underway – if it weren’t for the fact that Ilona was late. Again. Her punctuality – or lack thereof – had become infamous among Hyperion and the rest of the company, but somehow he had hoped she would deign to show up on time for something for which he had taken time out of his already busy day. In hindsight, he didn’t know what he had been thinking. Ilona seemed to turn showing up five minutes late (at the very least) into a national sport.

If it had been anyone else, Hyperion would already have chewed them out for their attitude. Perhaps he would even have made veiled threats that they might need to worry about their position in the company. But the fact was that Ilona was the best actress within the company – better than he had seen in years, in fact, even when he’d still been performing, himself. She knew her stuff and could play a large variety of roles. Perhaps he let her get away with too much. Probably. But somehow he could never remain very strict with her, even though she deserved it and probably even needed it. One smile and a soft-spoken apology from her and he was willing to forgive her for quite a lot. Pathetic, really, since he was known as a strict, often tough director, but that’s the way things were.

For as long as he’d been in the business, he’d abided by one very simple rule: never get into bed with your cast – your leads especially. It was bound to go wrong, and he’d end up without his best actors. Regular actors could be replaced, but his lead actor and actress had to live up to very high standards. At the moment, there simply wasn’t anyone else who lived up to them as well as his current leads did. Adding to that, Ilona was young – not quite young enough to be his daughter, but it was close. He knew women of her age. He knew what they wanted and, most importantly, he knew what they didn’t want. She might smile at him and touch him a little more often than was strictly necessary, but it was nothing more than a game to her. He wouldn’t benefit from going along with it, much as he might wish it were different. It would only end badly.

That was why he adopted a stern look and crossed his arms when the doors finally opened several minutes later. Usually, the recipient of such a glare would be shaking in their boots, but Hyperion knew very well it would have no such effect on Ilona. “Take your time,” he said sarcastically, though it didn’t sound as harsh as he had intended. Nevertheless, he continued, “Are you physically incapable of turning up on time, for once in your life?” He motioned for her to come closer and unfolded the script he had already been holding. “Well, come on. Some of us don’t have all day.”

Doubt thou the stars are fire Empty Re: Doubt thou the stars are fire

Bericht van Ilona wo apr 18, 2018 7:19 pm

The young red haired female had such a busy day, like any other day actually. The woman didn’t like to sit still. Only when she was next to water, only the could Ilona stay still for hours without getting up. With a soft sigh she looked out of the window. Outside you could still hear people talking busy with each other. Another part she didn’t like about big cities. The noise and the crowd. She had always lived with her father away from everybody, so she got used to the silent around her. And soon found out she really hated the loudness of people. Then again, it was a perfect place to do things without being noticed. The only good part of a big city. Ilona went with her fingers in a gently move through her curly hair, while looking away from the window to busy herself. Getting ready to go back outside the city. Just outside she found a small lake, it was perfect when she needed to be alone. That seemed to be every day actually.

The lake wasn’t big, how could dat just right in the earth kingdom. But at least there was on. After being sure nobody else was there she sat down. After crossing her legs and taking a deep breath she closed her eyes, her hands resting on her knees. And then nothing. Ilone just sat there. Her breathing so calm and slow that you hardly could tell if she was still breathing. Seconds turned into minutes. Minutes into hours. The female had no sense of time whatsoever. The only thing that mattered was the water in front of her and being alone. No one around to annoy her. Only after a few hours she opened her eyes again. Sadly she has still somewhere to be. So with a big sigh she went back into the city. Being surrounded again. Making her feel suffocated.

When approaching the theater a playful grin appeared on her face. Without a care she walked inside the big building knowing she was more than a few minutes late for the private rehearsal. Like expected she got greeted by Hype. She puts her hands in the aire surrendering herself, while her smirk only growing more. “ I do my best” teasing him was something she liked, more than what she usual does. “I don’t think so…. i can’t be perfect, can i. suprisingly i know!? i mean, come on, me not perfect?” She went to stand behind him, her hands on his back while she went to stand on the top of her toes, looking over his shoulder to see what part he wanted to practice. Ilona wrapped her arms from his back around his waist. “ The tragical death scene?” The woman spoke up next to his ear without any shame. “ Sounds good to me” After chuckling softly Ilona pulled back going to the stage.

Doubt thou the stars are fire Empty Re: Doubt thou the stars are fire

Bericht van Hyperion Dhatri wo apr 18, 2018 8:22 pm

There were days he actually wanted to shake her, and then himself. Her attitude would be a problem, one day, if he wasn’t careful, and he resented her a little for playing him so easily. He resented himself more, though, for not putting his foot down. He knew his feelings towards Ilona were unwanted and untimely and complicated, and he knew they would blow up in his face even though nothing would ever come of them.

And yet he couldn’t stop them. He couldn’t imagine a day where Ilona wasn’t there to tease him and drive him halfway to insanity with a grin and a wink and some thinly-veiled innuendo. She had been part of the company for six years, and already it felt as if she’d always been there. He didn’t even want to contemplate letting her go. Gods above, he was in too deep.

Suddenly, her hands settled on his back, the touch light but there. Her hands seemed to burn through his clothes and he couldn’t help but tense under them. She made matters worse by leaning against him and wrapping her arms around him as she peered over his shoulder at the script. Her voice, when she spoke, brushed against his ear. He only just suppressed a shiver, but it was a close thing. He felt his breath falter somewhere in his chest as he kept absolutely still, willing her to step back before he did something he’d regret. He was relieved when she did step back, even though he imagined he could still feel the warmth of her body linger against his back.

Focus, he told himself. He took his place opposite her on the stage and scanned the lines in the script. The scene was split clearly in two: the first half centred on the male lead, who discovers what he thinks is the body of his beloved and ends his life so that he can be at her side for all eternity. The second half of the scene centred on the woman, who is revealed not to have been dead at all but merely in a drug-induced sleep, and who wakes to find the body of her lover next to her. She takes her own life after a moving monologue.

Since he wanted to experience Ilona’s acting up close, Hyperion eased himself onto the ground, half propped up on an elbow so that he could check the script. “From the moment you wake to find me dead next to you,” he said, pointing the line out to Ilona in the script. “What’s here? a cup, closed in my true love’s hand? And so forth.” He glanced briefly at Ilona to check if she agreed and then went back to scanning the script.

And instantly tensed as his eyes landed on the stage directions towards the end of Ilona’s monologue. Damn him, he’d forgotten there was a final kiss involved. He hadn’t included it into regular rehearsals yet mostly because they rehearsed the same scene time and time again and he knew his actors didn’t want to spend half their rehearsal practising the same kiss over and over. He usually saved it for the last week of rehearsals, as it was a very small thing to correct if it wasn’t convincing.

Well, he thought resignedly, it was too late to change the scene – and it was a very telling monologue, so if there was anything that would tell him what had felt off about Ilona’s performance so far, it would be this particular scene. Likely Ilona would treat is as any other rehearsal and simply skip over the kiss. There was nothing to worry about. Hyperion lifted his eyes from the script to look at Ilona and gave her a nod, signalling she could begin.

Doubt thou the stars are fire Empty Re: Doubt thou the stars are fire

Bericht van Ilona wo apr 18, 2018 9:57 pm

Ilone being on time? That will probably only happen when the world will die… So never. The young female doesn’t have a good reason of why always being late. Nor does she has any good excuse to at least try getting on his good side. From the very beginning it was clear to both of them that it won’t be a plain and boring relationship. That there would be tension. Until today she was happy with that. Even while he probably gets the feeling to shake her senses back, or Ilona wanting to testing his patience even more. Their relationship was strong. The people that worked around them knew it, Hype and she knew it. Even she couldn’t and wouldn’t dare to think of a day where she couldn’t see and tease him. It was a bit like tradition…? So like the usual she came late, and just like expected it annoyed the old man very much.

So being her she calmed him down in her own way, teasing. First she started with putting her hands on his back. But ended with standing on the top of her toes and her arms around his waist. It wasn’t something new. The people that works with her were all used to her teasings with the boss. After looking over his shoulder to see which scene, she pulled back. Both getting ready to practice it. An amused chuckle escaped her lips, she had tried to hold it but failed. Seeing him tensing up after he seems to understand what would happen in that part. and then Ilona seemed to change just like the atmosphere around her. Like a switch.

The teasing stopped. the twinkling in her eyes gone. She was not Ilona anymore but the role she needed to play. Just seeing the change in her, made it clear she was just perfect to be a leading actress. And so she began. Ilona or rather ‘juliette’ gasp seeing him lying dead on the ground. “What's here? a cup, closed in my true love's hand?” She took the invisible cup in out of his hands. Ilone kept going without missing a beat. “...... To make die with a restorative.” Ended it just before she was supposed to kiss him. With real tears rolling over her cheeks she bend over his body. Her face towering over his. Slowly she brought her lips closer to his. The moment they their lips just touched for only a second she pulled back. Speaking up her last sentence, fake drinking her poison and fell soon dead on him. Her head under his head on his chest. Listening a few seconds to his beating heart before pulling back with such a with grin on her face. “ What ya think old man? i’m good aren’t i?” Boosting her own ego even more.

Doubt thou the stars are fire Empty Re: Doubt thou the stars are fire

Bericht van Hyperion Dhatri wo apr 18, 2018 10:44 pm

There was something about Ilona he hadn’t yet seen in any other actress – even in the one who had taught him everything he needed to know about the stage – and it showed most clearly whenever she got into character. Ilona was a presence to be reckoned with when she was simply being herself, which was why the change between her own personality and that of her character was so noticeable. It never failed to leave Hyperion speechless. He had been a good actor in his day, but Ilona was a star.

She performed her lines with the broken voice of a woman who knew the man she’d loved above all others would never return to her. Her eyes were almost empty as she gazed down at him. Hyperion imagined he could be sucked into their depths if he stared at her long enough, but he couldn’t look away. He watched as she took the imaginary poison from his hand and found himself holding his breath as she leaned over him. A tear fell from her cheek onto his, startlingly real.

Reaching the end of her lines, Ilona stopped speaking. This was the moment in the script where Juliet was supposed to kiss Romeo one last time before dying. Surely she would skip it – except, Ilona kept leaning closer until he could have counted her freckles if he had been of the mind to do so. There was the barest touch of her lips against his, lasting no more than a second, and then she was reciting her last line before she swallowed the imaginary poison and dropped down onto his chest, her weight solid and very real.

Hyperion kept perfectly still. It was tempting to lift a hand and curl his fingers in her hair, or to place it on her waist. She was so close, and she wasn’t even moving. It would take almost no movement at all to hold her. But the moment passed and she sat up, grin in place and no trace of Juliet to be found, and Hyperion was left feeling oddly bereft, as if something important had been torn away from him.

He realised only belatedly that he’d failed entirely in paying proper attention. He’d been so absorbed in her play and her closeness that he hadn’t kept a critical eye out for anything she might need to improve on. He wracked his brain for anything he might have noticed, but was lost in the carefree expression on her face far too easily. His eyes came to rest on her lips, which had been pressed against his all too briefly. He wetted his own suddenly dry lips with a flick of his tongue. He couldn’t quite tear his gaze away. “Yes, you are,” he said, nearly inaudibly, before he could stop himself.

The words lifted the daze he’d been under and he quickly cleared his throat as he sat up. “You were very convincing,” he said in a louder voice. “But she’s angry with him as much as she’s grieving. Do it again and put more anger into it when she addresses him in the beginning.” He was grasping at straws. Juliet’s anger wasn’t a major thing in the scene, but he needed to have another look at the scene to see if he had missed anything the first time around. He’d pay better attention this time, he told himself. No more distractions. He was a professional.

Doubt thou the stars are fire Empty Re: Doubt thou the stars are fire

Bericht van Ilona wo apr 18, 2018 11:15 pm

In the beginning she didn’t knew she was very good in acting. Yes she acted on street to steal some food. But never thought much of it, she thought people were just stupid enough to believe her little dramatic acts. Yet only after meeting Hyperion she finally understood why nobody ever saw through her act. To be honest it even surprised her at the beginning. In the beginning of acting she made a lot of faults, it was to expected. Ilona had never done it like that before, following a script and imagining the role she needed to play. But with the guidance of the old man she soon got the hang of it. Without him she would have never gotten so far. If it wasn’t for him she would still be traveling without any destination in mind and stealing food. Or she could have ended back home with Jonah. Finding the stares with judgement on her again. It was place that gave her mixed feelings.

Getting into her role wasn’t difficult. Remembering the lines were the hard part, altho for her it depended a bit.  There will always be roles and lines that are more difficult to remember than others. Being in her role as juliette, she didn’t saw Hype lying there while watching her, instead she saw her beloved. It was because she made that image in front of her eyes that she could cry like it was real. That’s why she drinked that poison like she hadn’t anything to life for anymore. When it was over she was back to teasing self. Like nothing happened at all. The grin on her face while watching the man in front of her. Waiting for the feedback. Her grin getting bigger at his soft words. he gave her big ego a big boost. It was when he was giving her tips to make it even better is when Ilona became serious again. Nodding at the fact she understand what she had to change or simply adjusts.

Without any complain stood on her place. The young female just started for another few long seconds at the floor, this was her way of adjusting her role a bit more. When she thought she was ready she switched again to Juliet. Speaking the roles, still full grieve yet it was clear she was now also angry. Angry on herself and on the young man that lays dead in front of her. After falling back on her knees her eyes looked over him, like she was searching for any sign that he was still alive. Bowing for a second time Ilona placed her lips softly on the Hype, this time a few seconds longer. it couldn’t been seen as doing it on purpose, the girl still deep into the role of juliet, drinking the poison and falling dead on his chest.

“Better?” While watching him with her sea blue eyes, Ilona pushed herself up again. “Don’t tell me you hoped i would kiss you properly, old man?” Her eyes twinkling with amusement. Ilona was hard to read on things like this. Was she teasing him or really questioning him. “ Let’s go Hype, i’m getting hungry so you own me some food” After stretching her body and making her back crack, she went of the stage. Waiting rather impatiently for him. When the girl was angry you only had to do one thing. Just give her food. it won’t work just anybody, just the ones the female liked. When he finally was next to her she wrapped her arm around his. “ You may pick the restaurant this time”

Doubt thou the stars are fire Empty Re: Doubt thou the stars are fire

Bericht van Hyperion Dhatri wo apr 18, 2018 11:52 pm

As he had expected, Ilona accepted his pointers without comment or complaints and immediately went to get ready. Despite her infinite teasing and her lack of punctuality, she’d never actually had any issues with following his direction while she was on stage. Hyperion, still lying down on the stage, looked up at her and watched the change come over her again. There was a fire in her eyes that hadn’t been there previously, and there was a tense undertone to her voice when she delivered her lines. As usual, she’d understood exactly what he had been trying to say and adjusted her style accordingly.

The way she looked him over after she had sunk to her knees was an especially nice touch. It added a level of desperation that fit the scene well. Yes, thought Hyperion, almost smiling proudly, before Ilona once again leaned closer and pressed their lips together. The touch lasted longer than last time, so that Hyperion had to remember he was supposed to be a lifeless body – and that she was his lead actress, playing a part, and that he was very much not supposed to kiss her back. Luckily, she leaned back and finished the scene quickly after, giving Hyperion some much needed room to breathe.

When she asked for his opinion, he nodded. “Better,” he agreed as he also pushed himself up to sit. Her next question caught him by surprise, mostly because it hit so close to home, and he had to take a moment to let his heart rate settle. He didn’t tell her yes, even though it would have been the truth. Instead, he merely rolled his eyes and got to his feet, dusting off his clothing. The rich fabric really wasn’t made for lying on a stage that had carried a dozen people earlier that day.

Her suggestion – insofar as it was a suggestion and not a demand – to get something to eat wasn’t actually a terrible idea. He was momentarily distracted by the curve of her back as she stretched her body and hopped off the stage, but he followed quickly enough. Once he had gotten off the stage, Ilona’s arms wrapped around his and tugged him along. “Don’t I feel flattered,” he said dryly in response to her gracious suggestion that he could pick the restaurant.

As it was, he knew just the place. He’d been going there for years and he had never been disappointed by their food yet. He led Ilona out of the theatre, trying not to focus on her pressed against his arm, and crossed the street into the busy town centre. The restaurant was located two blocks away from the theatre. Because of the time of day, it was already crowded, but Hyperion was a familiar face at the restaurant, so the woman at the front quickly found him a table. Hyperion carefully extracted his arm from Ilona’s grip and held out one of the chairs for her. He might have been raised on the streets, but he had manners, thank you very much.

Bericht van Ilona za apr 28, 2018 4:32 pm

After hearing the feedback she always thinks how to change her acting a bit. But from the moment she went into her real she didn’t think like the actress she was. She just let her instincts acts on it’s own.Everything went smoothly without any fault or stutter. The woman was rather proud on herself. Which she is most of the time anyway. With her big ego. After finishing the second the time the second scene Ilona was back to her usual flirty self. the fact that Hyperion found it better now, made her mood even better. Liking his company way to much, Ilona decided to get something to eat, hopefully he hasn’t eaten just yet.

Strangely she didn’t to part just yet from him. The young female knew him already a few years. She liked him, even if she was always late and never gave an excuse. She really liked the older man. He was strict but with justice. He would never get angry without a good reason. It was the complete opposite of Ilona, she being rather explosief. Not always knowing when she could explode so suddenly. Just thinking about her bad temper bad her grin just a little bit more. Her sea blue eyes twinkling in amusement, yet she kept quiet. Her arm wrapped around Hype. Curious which restaurant he will lead her.

After finally arriving Ilona nod thankfully when he let her sit on a stool. As soon as she sat down the young woman had to look around. Her sea blue eyes scanning the area. “ Not bad at all Old man” she smiled at the man in front of her. “ I like your taste.” After throwing a wink at him she took the menu in her hands. Reading what they all had to eat and drink. At Least they have enough variation in their food choice. That’s good. “Hmz… so many choices” Ilona huffs softly while pouting for a second. Soon enough

Soon the waiter came. “ I would like the one that the chef would recommend” After not knowing what she wanted, it was soon decided to just let the chef of the restaurant choose. She cocked her head little sidewise while watching Hype order his own food. Watched his short curly hair. It took a few minutes before she stopped watching him so closely. Her fingers ran through her wild curly red hair. “ So dear hype, how was my stage kiss?” Her smile changed into a very playfull smirk. Resting her chin on her hands. “ Was it good or should i make it a bit longer… maybe a bit deeper with the emotions in it?” Now she was testing him.

Doubt thou the stars are fire Empty Re: Doubt thou the stars are fire

Bericht van Hyperion Dhatri za apr 28, 2018 5:19 pm

The restaurant Hyperion brought Ilona to was one he had been frequenting for a great many years. He had come here for the first time after his first acting gig, when he was twenty-two. Ashe, the actress who had been giving him acting lessons, had taken him here to celebrate, insisting to pay for it all because she’d known Hyperion didn’t have much coin to his name yet and the restaurant wasn’t cheap. He had fond memories of the night and of Ashe, who had been older than him but had doted on him since the very moment he had joined the company. They had parted ways years ago, long before Hyperion founded the Saeculum. He wondered how she was. Last he heard, she had settled down somewhere with a man to see to her every need.

At any rate, the fond memories of that particular night had driven Hyperion to the restaurant many a time afterwards, especially after the Saeculum began to do well. Usually, he came alone, though he sometimes brought along a date whenever he didn’t have to pay for their company – he knew how quickly public favour could change, and he knew it would turn quickly if he was seen in the company of a prostitute, no matter if half the city frequented the various brothels and then pretended otherwise in the morning. Mostly, he came to the restaurant alone. The times when he actually dated someone were increasingly rare and usually didn’t last beyond a night or two, before Hyperion grew bored of them and inevitably cast them aside.

Ilona was the exception to the rule. He couldn’t quite pinpoint when it was that his eyes came to linger more frequently on her than anyone else. They hadn’t gotten along tremendously at the very beginning, when she had just joined the company – their personalities clashing more often than not – but after Ilona’s first few performances, when she proved that she actually did know what she was doing even though she seemed to be unable to show up to rehearsals on time or at all, things settled. Hyperion gave her a little more leeway and she responded with playful banter and flirtatious smiles that he knew not to take seriously.

For all he knew, his feelings for her had changed between one day and the next. He couldn’t possibly say. He only knew what they were now, and that they could get him into serious trouble if she ever found out. So he kept them close to his chest, responding to her flirtations the same way he always had. Hopefully. Though, if he was honest, bringing her to this restaurant came dangerously close to recreating the first time Ashe had brought him here – and Ashe had taken him to bed shortly after. Hyperion roughly banished the memories from his mind. This was not the place, nor the time, nor the woman.

Shortly after he had helped her sit, Ilona complimented him on his choice of restaurant – though, of course, she couldn’t resist calling him ‘old man’. If he wasn’t used to it by now, it would have stung. As it was, he merely have her an amused smile and watched her peruse the menu. He left his own undisturbed. He’d been her so many times in the past that he knew what he wanted. “They’re all equally good, depending on what you like,” he said as he shifted in his seat to get comfortable while he waited for the waiter to arrive.

As manners dictated, he let Ilona order her food first. He smiled at her choice (or, really, lack of one) and handed his menu to the waiter, who had served him often enough in the past. “You know what I like,” he told the man, who nodded and collected their menus before disappearing into the kitchen. He reached for the carafe of water the man had left on the table and filled first Ilona’s glass, then his own, and sat back after taking a careful sip. He left his fingers curled around the stem of the glass, liking the way it felt in his hand. He was faintly aware of her eyes on him, there every time he looked at her. He didn’t read too much into it.

Having known Ilona for as long as he had, it shouldn’t have surprised him when she brought conversation back to her stage kiss, but it did. He only just managed to clench his hand around his glass in time to prevent himself from knocking it over and took a quiet, deliberate breath. He watched the playful smirk on her lips and the way she rested her chin on her hands, which she had to know looked utterly charming. Damn her.

In order to calm his racing heart and to give himself some time to sort out his thoughts, he took another sip of water. “It was fine,” he said evasively. He had the almost irresistible urge to fidget, but he remained still, though he wouldn’t quite meet her eyes. “If you prolong it any more, your Romeo will think you’re actually serious.” He was talking about his lead actor, who lived up to his role. Hyperion frowned slightly at the stab of jealousy he felt at the thought of Ilona actually taking an interest in the man, whom Hyperion didn’t really like, but he did his job well, so he kept him on.

Almost as soon as he felt jealousy rise within him, Hyperion wrestled it down. If he allowed it to settle, he’d be in trouble. Ilona was young and beautiful, and she’d have hordes of men chasing after her. Inevitably, she’d choose one, or several, to go out with, and there was nothing Hyperion could do about it. He had no claim on her. If he started thinking that he had, he’d be venturing down a path that could mean his ruin – both emotionally and socially. If there was ever talk, no actress worth her salt would want to act in the company of an old lecher.

He set down his glass of water and quickly steered conversation towards safer territory. “How do you think we’re doing?” he asked Ilona, fingers still twirling his glass between them. “We only have two more months before opening. Anything we should change or modify before that time?” He didn’t usually invite much feedback from his employers, especially his actors, but Ilona was opinionated and knew what she was talking about. That aside, she would play the role; if anything felt off about the play still, Hyperion would rather know now than later. There would still be time to change it now, if necessary.

Doubt thou the stars are fire Empty Re: Doubt thou the stars are fire

The sun seemed to go down minute after minute. It always is a beautiful sight to see. Specially at the south pole. It was one of the very few things Ilona loved at that place. The young woman was glad she did her acting good. Proud she did at least that good. Of course her bending was great too. But that was because she was trained for that. Acting… it came natural, no training no practice. And the man she now has accompanied from saw it in her. Which she was until today still very grateful for. The restaurant he took her was unfamiliar, so she didn’t know what to order for herself. Instead she let the chef choice, hoping it will be something she likes.

“If you prolong it any more, your Romeo will think you’re actually serious.” The woman looked at the man in front of her. Not saying anything for a few minutes. Only watching him with an amused look on her face. “ Come on Hype, everybody knows i don’t, not only that…” She grins. “ I think our Romeo has finally figured that also out, after i froze his balls for a second”  Ilona knew she was candy for mens eyes. Yet she could handle herself perfectly fine. The fact that her ice acts on her emotions can be very dangerous in sometimes. Specially when she doesn’t control her own emotions.

We’re doing good, in my opinion at least.” When grabbing her glass it began to freeze it a bit. She kept quiet while watching it cover her whole glass of water. Turning it colder and colder until she let go. “We don’t need to change anything. Just hoping that the rest of the cast don’t forget their part, or worse change it.”  Her hand was back wrapped around her glass and took a few sips of her ice cold drink. “Normally if they changed their sentences, it’s not that bad, i can play with that. But what we play now… everybody knows the story. You choose a very hard play, Old man”  With a twinkling in her eyes she bowed over the table.

Their faces only millimeters apart. There was a soft almost unseen smile on her face. In those few seconds she didn’t do anything, not closing the gap between them. She just… watched him. The movement of the waiter next to them, made her pull away so the food could be put on the table. it was like a snap that broke the trance. With one look outside the window Ilona spoke up again, in meanwhile grabbing her fork and knife. “in a few hours the sun will be gone completely, so i hope to see it. It’s up to you if you still want to join me after dinner or not.” The red haired woman didn’t look up. Instead she grabbed. Since she came to here, Ilona always made time to watch the sun go down. She never told anyone where she always goes after work. So it was even a surprise for herself when she told it so casual.
