Welkom op Untold Tales, een Nederlandstalige open-world RPG gebaseerd op de bekende Avatar: The Last Airbender serie. Dit forum speelt zich af in de tijd vlak voor de honderd jarige oorlog, en opent zo een mogelijkheid voor een geheel eigen plot en ontwikkeling van de wereld en diens karakters. Creëer je eigen karakter, sluit je aan bij een van de naties en ontdek deze net iets andere versie van de welbekende, nostalgische wereld van Avatar.

Helaas is de korte periode van rust snel tot een eind gekomen. Tijdens een 'vredes' vergadering tussen de leiders van de vier naties heeft de vuurnatie de stad Gaoling in beslag genomen. Hoe zouden het aarderijk en diens inwoners hier op reageren? De meningen over de situatie zijn verdeeld, maar over een ding is men zo goed als zeker. Betekend dit het begin van een oorlog?

Ba Sing Se
Ba Sing Se is the capital of the Earth Kingdom as well as one of its constituent states, encompassing a large portion of the nation's northeastern corner. The city is by far the largest in the World of Avatar, essentially being more of a small country than a mere city. As a testament to its grandeur, the Earth Kingdom's roadway network is centered on the city. Ba Sing Se means "Impenetrable City"; it is so named for its world-famous walls, the gates of which have no hinges or other hardware and are opened by the use of earthbending. Within the Outer Wall lies a large expanse of farmland, Lake Laogai, and several mountains. The Inner Wall encloses the city itself. The metropolis is also notable for having a unique system of walls dividing the populace into different parts of the city based on social status.

Omashu
Omashu is the second largest city in the Earth Kingdom and the capital of one of its states. Only outdone in size and importance by Ba Sing Se, Omashu is one of the great strongholds of the Earth Kingdom, and continues to supply the Earth Kingdom Army with troops and supplies. The gates of this bustling metropolis are guarded by an army of earthbenders. This city is also well known for its famous delivery system powered by a combination of both earthbending and gravity.

Gaoling (!)
Gaoling is a large town located within a mountain range in the southern Earth Kingdom. It is home to the Earth Rumble tournament. An old and well-established town, Gaoling has a broad spectrum of citizens residing in it, ranging from the very rich to the very poor. Currently under control of the Fire Nation.

Kyoshi Island
Kyoshi Island is located off the southern coast of the Earth Kingdom and dotted with many small villages. Predominantly a fishing port, this small island in the South Sea is a popular destination among traders and travelers. It is well known as the birthplace of Avatar Kyoshi and the residence of the elite Kyoshi Warriors, an all-female fighting outfit. As a result, every village on the island hosts a statue of its revered Avatar, and one of the villages has converted a temple into a shrine dedicated to her. The island is characterized by its seclusion and temperate climate.

Serpent's pass
The Serpent's Pass is a narrow strip of land located between the East and West Lakes and serves as one of the few direct paths to Ba Sing Se. It is named after the serpent which guards it, making the pass feared in the Earth Kingdom.

Si Wong Desert
The Si Wong Desert is an arid region located in the central Earth Kingdom. It is the largest, driest, and hottest desert on Earth, and due to its extreme climate, the region is almost impossible to successfully cross. The desert is sparsely populated by Sandbender Tribes and beetle-headed merchants.
