HISTORY

> Childhood
Kai wasn’t just born a normal child. No, he was the child of the firelady, the heir to the fire throne. He was taken care of, had everything he wanted. His mother was a busy person, but when she wasn’t busy making war or saving the world she was with him. From a young age he learned what it meant to have big expectations. Every person ever expected the best of him, if it wasn’t about his bending, it was about how he learned thing or how he acted around certain people. The pressure was there from the moment he was born. The stakes where even raised when he attended school and started to making friends. Due to how he was raised he was more reserved at first, a thing that disappeared quite fast when he got to know the other children better. While all the others were busy with playing outside, the little Kai was always bent over maps where he had placed his imaginary armies on. Eventually he would go and play outside, but the games always had something to do with the military. Some of them even evolved into a whole warfare on the playground, off course never to be resolved since he always started throwing punches or even using his bending tricks. A thing he was punished for multiple times.

> Teens
In school Kai wasn’t the greatest student anymore, he still did his very best but his interest lied elsewhere. The young teen was more interested in fighting, making his skillset better, but most of all in fighting to protect his mother. That’s why when he was the right age, he discussed with his parents to be going to the military academy.  A dream he had always head. Nephthys wasn’t very thrilled about her son going there but she let him be with one extra thing he had to succeed in his normal school to. It certainly helped him, Kai became more motivated. He didn’t calm down tho, mainly one of the reasons he was training his bending skills alone to not hurt anyone else. Him and his mom trained together a few times which only tightened there bond. He isn't only a skilled bender, but also a skilled fighter.
