Information: Lev was extremely talented in bending from a young age. He was trained by the best monks and made enormous progress. He was only thirteen years old when he got his master tattoos. Around that time he was able to master both spiritual projection and was able to fly. The flying was only possible because he let go of his earthly connections, of his parents who had died and the monks that raised and trained him. However, upon getting his Flying Bison, losing his cat and getting a new cat, Lev lost most of his ability to fly. The two animals gave him new connections which disabled flight. He is only able to levitate for a couple of minutes and not higher than two meters above the ground. This takes an enormous amount of concentration.

Lev was born in the Eastern Air Temple and the first couple of years in his life weren’t much different from the other Air Nomads. The young boy turned out to have a talent for Airbending and because of that both the Avatar and the Head Monk took somewhat of a liking to him. The Avatar even gave him a stray kitten he had found in the Earth Kingdom. Lev named the little white kitten Asier. Less than a year later the Fire Nation launched their attack on the two Air Temples. That day Lev lost both his parents and the Avatar who had been like family to him. He was brought to the Northern Air Temple and continued his training there. Asier was the only one who remained by his side even when he struggled with pretty much everything. He reached Master level on an early age and that caused him to get a lot of attention. Yet again the Head Monk took a liking to him, although Lev did not quite like the old man. He had a hard time when Asier died but the pain was somewhat lessened by Mamun and Alvar who joined his ‘family’ shortly after. Because of his high level of bending skills and the fact that the previous Avatar and two of the previous Head Monks liked him Lev was appointed Head Monk at the age of 25.
